What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — name, email, shipping address, phone number, and payment details. We also gather purchase history, device information (model, OS version for app users), and browsing behavior on our platform to improve your experience.
How We Use It
Your data helps us process orders, deliver products to your door, provide customer support via WhatsApp, send order updates and shipping notifications, improve our website and app, and prevent fraudulent transactions. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Payment Security
All payments are processed through Paystack with PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance. Your full card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers. We only retain transaction references and the last 4 digits of your card for receipt purposes.
Third-Party Sharing
We share data only with trusted partners: delivery couriers (for shipping your order), payment processors (for transactions), and analytics providers (for store improvements). All partners are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and data protection clauses.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, request corrections to inaccurate information, ask for deletion of your account and associated data, and opt out of marketing communications at any time. Email privacy@machub.ng — we respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
Order and transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with Nigerian tax and consumer protection laws. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request, except where legally required to retain.
